No. 2 Shaft Hoist Machine Room

This winch was used to transport heavy loads. The low speed apparatus took 1 hour to descend 264m. The hoist drum is approximately 1.8m in　diameter, 2.7m in width with 500m of 46mm tick wire rope were wound around. The total weight of the winch is 4.7 tons.
